Chittlehamholt, Satterleigh and Warkleigh Village Hall, Chittlehamholt, EX37 9NT
Our Village hall is set in the middle of the village between the Exeter Inn and the Mole Resort to the south.
The hall is available for a range of activities, including fitness classes, local groups and societies, public meetings, wedding receptions, dances and other public functions. Details of current activities can be found on our Activities page.
There is a main hall, with a stage and a connected kitchen with a serving hatch/bar. The hall can accommodate up to 100 seated. There is also a smaller committee room. Wheelchair access is available and there are separate accessible toilet facilities.
The building is to be upgraded in the coming months with the installation of solar panels, more efficient heating and improved toilet facilities. This has been made possible with a grant contribution from the Platinum Jubilee Village Hall Fund.
Opposite the hall is the village shop which opens daily and stocks an extensive array of goods including fresh and frozen foods and local produce.
The large car park can accommodate approximately 60+ vehicles and is adjacent to the hall. Opposite the hall over the main village road there is a well equipped playing field with plenty of space for families to enjoy the facilities including the breath-taking views across the countryside.
The hall is available for hire for a wide range of events. Hire charges are shown on our Booking page, with current bookings shown on our Event Calendar page.
